You can search by type and then VIN, part number or year, make and model. Search results will produce fuel pump application matches. However, there may be more than one fuel pump that will work in the specific application. Engine size, tank size, vehicle wheelbase, specific vehicle model, fuel type and fuel system type are important considerations in finding the correct application-specific fuel pump.
GM uses several different in-tank sender assemblies in the same make and model of vehicles. To determine the correct fuel pump, have the technician or customer check the permanent ID tag attached to the assembly wiring harness or fuel tube to ensure he/she has the correct fuel pump sender assembly.
